This certificate is awarded to Laura Price in recognition of her commitment to Republican principles in her role as a member of the Talbot County Council  where she is an outspoken advocate of conservative principles, as a small business owner who embraces free market principles, and as a mother who has instilled in her sons respect for personal responsibility, civic involvement, love of country and adherence to the same conservative principles Laura and her husband, Richard,  support.  As a mother, she is involved in her sons' education, is  a cheerleader for their sports activities and has been an active participant over the years in their Cub Scout and Boy Scout endeavors.  Her dedication to the formation of their values is evident in the boys' achievements: son Justin is a Life Time Scout and his brother Nicholas recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout.  As the liaison from the County Council to the Talbot County Public Schools, she continues to work to impact the quality of education her sons and all students in Talbot County receive.
